A trip with my wife to the south of France in 2012 found me intrigued by old wine estates that formerly were churches (the rooster at the top is an indicator of the Protestant faith of its owner).

I’m intrigued by doors of all kinds — and this one was one of my favourites so I had to sketch it and decided to add a light watercolour wash.
Boats. Sailboats. Oh how I dream of sailing once again!
