This night
and every night
may we be blessed.
May we be blessed with
a healing night of sleep
a release from pain
a gentle respite from worry and fear about possibilities of nuclear war blessed with a peace that passes understanding.
May we be blessed by Grace that surrounds, undergirds and infills.
When we awake
may we be mindful of Love that envelopes
casting out fear
fear of the known
and fear of the unknown.
This night and every night
may we be blessed.
